At The Raw Wool Company, we give you the whole story. Single-origin fibre from our sheep and that of other young farmers close by in Cornwall. From field to skein, everything is handled with care and quality.

In 2010, Juli Hewins and her son Anton set out to rear and raise a flock of Wensleydale sheep to produce beautiful, rustic-coloured fibre. Since then, we have worked and supported other local young farmers to create and celebrate British yarn and breeds.

Wensleydale yarn is sought after for having a glossy sheen; it is a smooth and lustrous yarn perfect for winter jumpers, socks, weaving, and much more.​

From farm to fibre all our yarns are farmed, spun and handled in Cornwall.
