OUR RETREATS & WORKSHOPS

Along the Cornish coast, you’ll find a retreat where knitting meets the landscape or a workshop to deepen your skills in natural fibre and traditional Cornish knitting. Whether it’s an immersive retreat with coastal walks, farm visits, and evenings knitting by the fire, or a hands-on workshop exploring technique and fibre, there’s space to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Our retreats offer the chance to experience the deep connection between land, wool, and craft, while workshops provide a focused, practical approach—working with fibre from fleece to yarn, guided by experience and tradition.

Led by Anton (founder of the Raw Wool Company), these gatherings are an opportunity to step away from the everyday, whether through an active retreat or an in-depth workshop. Expect farm visits, good conversation, and a Cornish cream tea or two along the way.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Anton aims to create a welcoming space for all adult men, women, trans, and non-binary knitters. Both the retreats and workshops are for everyone!

If this speaks to you, keep an eye out for upcoming dates below or express your interest to be the first to know when tickets go live.

Our goal is to create a fun, creative, fulfilling and inclusive space for knitters and crafters to enjoy. This is a retreat for people who want to spend time enjoying their craft but also want to get outside and explore. We expect you to join us on a hike of about 5km, to visit farmland and countryside and maybe even a sea or cold water swim! There will be plenty of time to sit and knit but we are also going to be getting up and active.

Yes, if you are a crochet or weaver or a knitting or just have an interest in all things woolly then you will enjoy this retreat.
